I’m attracted to beautiful things…
…and curious about the meaning of life.
Both subjects have dominated my thoughts since childhood. I questioned my existence. Is there a purpose to this all? Am I learning a lesson? Is this reality? What is reality anyway?
As a son of an artist mother and a machinist father, I was exposed to creating at an early age. Growing up in the melting pot of Berkeley, California, I found solace from my existential concerns in the beauty of music, fashion, city-life, and visual arts. My journey through life has taken me from religions to atheism to spirituality and places in between. The beauty of not-knowing but living, with the realization that, this is the only moment I have and will ever have, is the source of my creativity. My process of adding layers of self-made typography, acrylic/spray painting, ink, hand-pulled silk screens and resin using devices I’ve built, I constantly seek for a beautiful wisdom, which feels real at that moment.
