Non-members of the General Public are welcome to join these events for a $20 single-event fee or become an Artist Member to attend all our Artist Programs throughout the year for the annual fee of $50.

Legacy and Estate Planning for artists

DESCRIPTION: Guest speaker, Attorney Amy Shelf of the firm Spears & Shelf LLP, will offer advice for artists about legal rights and artist intent in the event of death, copyrights, studio archiving and inventory management analysis, licensing, posthumous philanthropy, and estate planning. We will address common issues like selecting trustees or executors, donating archives, and working with auction houses. Share Your Artistic Vision With Better Portfolio Language

Art has the power to speak directly to our hearts, but as artists we sometimes need to convey our ideas into words as well. Jessica Gardner of Artglish is a language coach with a background in both art and ESL (English as a second language). In this interactive workshop, she’ll share strategies to help you make your portfolio language more accurate, engaging, and organized so you can confidently write and speak about your creative vision. Participants are encouraged to have a digital jpeg image of their artwork to screen share via zoom with fellow attendees.
