SF OPEN STUDIOS: Artist Schedule

ArtSpan's 49th SF Open Studios will run from October 19 through November 19 to coincide with the scheduled SFOS Exhibition at the SOMArts Cultural Center. Our 2023 season will kick-off the evening of Thursday, October 19th with ArtLaunch, the SFOS opening celebration hosted within the SFOS Exhibition space. Read below for our upcoming schedule of events relevant to participating SF Open Studio Artists.

June 1, 2023: SFOS Artist Registration Opens

October 20-November 19: SFOS Season

October 19: ArtLaunch (opening celebration)

October 20-22: SFOS Exhibition Opening Weekend

 October 28 & 29: Weekend 1 Studio Visits 

November 4 & 5: Weekend 2 Studio Visits

November 11 & 12: Weekend 3 Studio Visits

November 18 & 19: Weekend 4 Studio Visits

Weekend 1 | West Mission | Oct. 28 & 29: Excelsior, Noe Valley, Castro, Ingleside, Bernal Heights, West Mission, Portola, Visitacion Valley, OMI (Outer Mission/Ingleside), Oceanview

Weekend 1 Studio Buildings include: 1890 Bryant, Pacific Felt Factory, Project Artaud, Francisco Studios, Redbrick Ceramic Studio, Workspace Artists SF, Ruby’s Clay Studio

Weekend 2 | Westside | Nov. 4 & 5: Richmond, Sunset, Inner Sunset, Parkside, Cole Valley, Laurel Heights / Presidio Heights, Haight Ashbury, Twin Peaks, West Portal, Duboce Triangle

Weekend 2 Studio Buildings include: San Francisco Women Artists Gallery

Weekend 3 | North | Nov. 11 & 12: North Beach, Downtown, SOMA, Marina, Hayes Valley, Pacific Heights, East Cut, Nopa/Divisadero, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, South Beach, Chinatown, Civic Center.

Weekend 3 Studio Buildings include: Arc Studios & Gallery, Fort Mason, Journal Building, Root Division

Weekend 4 | East/Mission | Nov. 18 & 19: Dogpatch, East Mission, Bayview/Hunter’s Point, Potrero Hill, Mission Bay

Weekend 4 Studio Buildings include: Developing Environments, Yosemite Place, Public Glass, Noonan Building, Art Explosion(s), Dogpatch Collective, Graphic Arts Workshop, Hunter’s Point Shipyard, Islais Creek Studios, Revere Art Studios
