After my undergraduate studies in psychology and art, I went on to study Art Therapy at Pratt Institute, where my art grew to become expressive and inquisitive. My previously representational work moved towards abstraction, with the goal of describing what words couldn’t.
Influenced by my current work as an art therapist, my art practice has become an exploration of shape, color, and materials. My interest is in the way these elements interact to elicit a certain feeling, both for the creator and the viewer. My most recent work has included small, abstract, acrylic paintings focused on achieving color and form combinations that express internal experiences.
