For more than four decades I’ve pioneered the convergence of traditional and digital art forms, with recent unique mixed-media works integrating techniques (and imagery) from my painting, drawing, printmaking, and collage.
My series, “For Our Own Good: How My Life-saving Surveillance Destroyed Democracy,” reveals intimate medical details to personalize the dire societal consequences of failing to regulate technologies designed to “keep us safe.”
In the "Letters From My Father" series, fraught letters sent to me as a child—interwoven with my own imagery—form the metaphorical (and often literal) background for works that allude to the imaginary worlds children create to escape chaos, abandonment, and trauma.
