I’m an artist and plein air painter based in San Francisco. Getting outdoors and exploring new places is my inspiration, whether that’s a new street corner or a rugged trail in the backcountry. As an avid hiker, camper, and occasional backpacker, painting outdoors was something that always felt very natural to me. My style has roots in California impressionism and contemporary abstraction. My work mostly depicts landscapes in the bay area: hilly streets, rugged coastlines, and foggy trees. I’ve also created a lot of paintings around my hometown Ojai, and the California Sierras, since I bring an easel and a “let’s paint” attitude wherever I go.
