My goal is to continualy experiment, explore color possibilities, and to play with composition and line. When I first began painting (10 yrs. old) I explored styles and techniques in order to achieve a specific result in mind. I became burned out at 21y.o. and stopped painting for 4 years. When I returned to the canvas I was determined to challenge my pre-conceived ideas and teachings. Therefore I began to draw with my eyes closed while meditating (to clear my mind) and this particular style and figures were born from this experiment. I no longer draw with my eyes closed. My approach is primarily about experimenting with color and composition and the subject matter is second.
