Karen Slovak is a visual artist, surface pattern designer, and art teacher. Working primarily in oil and acrylic she likes the meditative aspect of painting and the unfolding of images that emerge in the process. Karen exhibits her paintings annually at Open Studios and has created chalk murals for San Francisco’s North Beach Festival.
