My quiet, minimalist work explores the shapes and shadings of the natural world (and occasionally the artifical world as well). I prefer to photograph in solitude, under soft light, immersed in nature, suspended in time. Hiroshi Sugimoto, JMW Turner, Agnes Martin, Mark Rothko and James Turrell have been important influences on my photography.
