I began painting and sculpting in 2006 in response to my study of art history. Oil painting began as an avocation and soon evolved into a passion. It has become a new career and occupies a part of almost every day. I paint in oil and generally in abstract and figurative styles. Many of my pieces are allegorical. I find myself telling stories or expressing feelings in my art.
