The use of materials in my abstract works are about implementing visually-stimulating colors, gestural movements and instinctive mark-making. I am often inspired to select a color palette based on my everyday interactions with the environment, especially items we pass by on a daily basis. Improvisation and instinctive application of materials dominate my work process.
