We all see this world from a different angle. What is real?
To make art is to see and occupy another reality. I see faces on buildings, creatures in inanimate objects, animals with different skin colors in my friends. Sometimes I draw a snapshot of a story. Everyone can interpret it their own way. My goal is to make art that inspires thinking and discussion.
In my work I have found it vital to explore every medium: oil painting, pastel, ink drawing, collage, fabric & fashion, digital drawing, sculpture, music—if I can think of it, I try it. Pictures appear in my mind, and I capture them. I also draw portraits from life and do street photography. Making art is my way of processing the world.
