Cameron E. G. is a neo-classical composer, audio, and visual artist whose vibrating visual art explores repetitive sampling from his own work.

First, he paints densely layered mixed media paintings. Then, he captures macro photos of the small details. Finally, Cameron orchestrates those macros into geometric patterns and fractals, resulting in his Kaleidoscopic Jewels.

His original paintings resemble visual scores, the macro photos are movements, and the jewels are measures. This three-step intermedia process grants him as much control as a composer, conductor, and musician would have, and explores permutation of theme and variation.

In keeping with music composition, his original paintings resemble visual scores, the macro photos are movements, and the Kaleidoscopic Jewels are measures. This three-step intermedia process grants him as much control as a composer, conductor, and musician would have, and explores transmutation of media and permutation of theme and variation.

Born in May 1987 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the region's tropical geography, wildlife, and natural beauty served as sources of inspiration while growing up and pursuing his artistic ventures. He has also lived in Chicago and since completing his Ethnomusicology degree at the University of Washington, he now resides in San Francisco, where he lives at a cross between art and music.
