My art practice is inspired by patterns in nature, the structures we build, and the fortitude and guidance of those who came before me. Balance can be achieved only momentarily and my intent is to depict those moments of stillness. I believe art can be a catalyst for activism, connection and energetic change. Creating helps me process unfolding events, stay present and connect to others. A constant resource are my own photographs, stories I've been told along the way, as well as working from memory and dreams.
