I have been studying and practicing art for over 25 years. I began with textile design, moved to printmaking, collage and finally arrived at painting. I began studies in realism but quickly turned to abstract work. I feel painting in the abstract opens doors for fluid espression. Color, line, shape and texture often bring movement and mood to any surface and ultimately transforms it. Color and texture are paramount to me as I like to use this combination to reflect energy and the vast array of human emotions we all carry within us.
I am a board member of the Artist's Guild of San Francisco
I have collectors around the United States and Internationally which include England, Germany Ireland and Switzerland.
