Throughout my life I have been drawn to bright colors and beautiful landscapes. I have been inspired by artist such as Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keefe, Jackson Pollock and Vincent Van Gogh. When taking photos: landscapes and flowers/plants seem to be what my eye is drawn to. I will then use these photos as inspiration. I work the canvas by first sketching the parts of the photo I want on the canvas, sometimes using the concept of collage to piece together my paintings.
