I use color, impasto, figurative abstraction and dancing subject to light the darkness with a joyful fury, an explosive expressionism, to fight back with everything different, dazzling, engaging and alive. I have created solo works, installations and furniture. I have written and illustrated “Oliver’s Illuminations”, a Jonathan Swift inspired graphic novel about American Empire, and written “Dancing Around The Cooking Pot", a very funny and very dark 80,000 word literary novel that satirizes our inability as Americans to come together as our world crumbles around us. I am deeply concerned about the state of our world and comment with political cartoons and illustrations.
