Working in clay is not so dissimilar to yoga. It provides for peace of mind and allows one’s mind to dance in the same way that does yoga. Ceramics is a path to creating and sharing serenity, and at its best, beauty. It is for this reason that nature and earthy colors feature prominently in my work. While my pieces always appear to be functional, they are not always intended primarily for use. I first and foremost hope that people will enjoy looking at them.
