Mixed media artist Paim, also known as Paiman, escaped from Iran after the revolution at the age of twelve, grew up in Germany and for the last thirty-five years lives in San Francisco, Bay Area. From an early age, he was exposed to the arts that stimulated him to explore and express his passion for painting, music and writing.
He’s been studying, teaching and working in the field of multi-media, education and advertising for the past 20 years. Paim’s abstract art pieces are an exquisite intersection of photography, digital painting and a freedom of expression.
One of his foremost passions is to volunteer and inspire young minds to tap into their creative wells.
Paim believes art like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He finds small openings of inspiration and peace in this busy life by reconnecting with nature, movement, and sound. Simple objects, shapes, & colors that go unnoticed in everyday life bring out his creativity.
