I use the abstract language of bold color, organic form, and dynamic shape to explore the visceral landscape. Working instinctively, I use brushes, spatulas, and sponges to coat on, knife off, and wash away, creating compositions with multiple layers, saturated fields of color, and unexpected marks. Each piece morphs and transforms through equal parts structure and spontaneity. For me, painting is the continual experience of exploring my emotional realm and bringing it into some kind of material form.
