The swirl, the flick, the thick ooziness of paint. The line, the mark. The line that has it's own journey to complete, and the sturdy paper with it's own story. My love of all these mediums brings it alive to live together. I don't aim for beauty. Meaning, moody. Thoughtful, intriguing. After decades of making art when I could; a little here, a little there, a class here and there, I now have the privilege of making art as much or as little as I want. It's as exhilarating and challenging as I could ever have wished for.
