I'm fascinated by how simple figures can reveal so much about personalities, mood and relationships. My subjects are usually friends, and I want my paintings to inspire the same joy in them that I feel when conceiving and painting them. I love capturing intimate moments and reimagining them with bold colors and spontaneous experiments. By paying close attention to posture, stance and personal space in relation to people and environment, I strive to stay honest and real to my subjects while enjoying the moment
