By creating art, I seek to share a message: we as humans must restore our role in the family of life. This is a change rooted in curiosity, commitment, and empathy. My artwork often features young people and animals, together in the fabric between dream and reality that childhood weaves. I focus on forming an understanding not only between the subjects in my work, but between viewers and my creations. Restoring humanity's ecological role and value of lands and wildlife is a theme in my life interests. With my artwork, I hope to reveal the empathy in our hearts and the hope and change that together we can bring to our planet. I donate all the proceeds of my work to animal conservation, especially organizations protecting my favorite animal, the snow leopard. - Kyle Trefny, (he/him), 20 years old
