Even when my process is planned, I leave space for the emergent, the spontaneous, the improvisational. My background in improvisational partner dancing, and accompanying live music, is a collaboration in real-time in multiple layers and players, a highly contextual process which carries over to my photographic collaborations. I thrive on collaboration, and the exploring mystery and alchemy of what can emerge from different visions coming together. The end product tends to borderline on the surreal, often invoking a tone of mythology.
