I like to work in flowing and balanced movements, expressing those ideas in a combination of media that lend texture, substance and depth to the works.

I work on both canvas and paper, depending upon the imagery and impact I'm working towards. My background is as a printmaker, hence my love for layering and collaging work.

I was heavily influenced by Bill Gatewood back in the mid 80's - used to spend a lot of time with him - and through him was exposed to the beauty of gold leaf. For over 10 years now I've been experimenting with leaf and bronzing powders, with some really excellent results.
