Artist Statement

I am fascinated with the exploration of unexpected materials that are not found within the context of traditional jewelry materials. This is the foundation of my unique wearable pieces. From felting over metal to attaching sequins together to create draping mesh, I am constantly experimenting with new materials, unconventional approaches to working with them, and the unique relationships of the various materials.
