Artist Statement
Artist's Statement "Art is to seize the movement of life and related sensations: the morning light, the different shades in a flower, the changing of colors, all sensations connected with people, perfumes, the surrounding plants, the flowing of time, everything changing every second, continuously, in color and forms. Art is life. Art is movement, Art is a diary of life. Only through art I feel deep delicate sensations". Lucia Gonnella tries to seize a moment of life on a canvas using acrylics, watercolors, black ink and oils in a vibrating and spontaneous sketching. In her first work she was trying to capture a synthesis rather than reality. Coming back to art in the last four years she has rediscovered her childish enthusiasm.
