Artist Statement

My Photographs are manipulated in Photoshop to bridge the gap between graphics and Photography. I respect classic photo techniques and also admire graphic processes. I find there is often a story in the manipulative process that is additive to my original intent of making the photographic image. I feel the need to document the unfamiliar of the familiar. The part of the creative process I enjoy most is the surprise of discovery.
