Delaram’s life-long passion for art has been an inspirational force that strengthens her identity as both human rights defender and artist. An acute awareness of the preciousness of life underlies all of her endeavors in life.
She considers herself a self-taught artist who is inspired throughout her journey in life with courage to express her raw feelings and self-revelation, as she seeks to communicate them to others. She paints to depict moments once lived, and to meditate on the ephemeral nature of beauty by using vivid colors, suggestive strokes, and touchable textures. Creating, removing, experimenting, and re-creating are at the core of her painting process.
